Kim Dunaway
MS, RD, LDN
Kim has a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science from MTSU and completed her master's degree and dietetic internship in Community Health and Nutrition from Tennessee Tech. Kim has experience in nutrition counseling, inpatient psych, and acute care. Kim is passionate about learning and has additional training in integrative and functional nutrition. Kim is also a certified yoga therapist and experienced yoga teacher.
Her approach: Kim's approach to nutrition is personalized and grounded in her foundations in both integrative and functional nutrition and mind-body wellness. Kim believes in care that is compassionate, patient-centered, and non-judgmental. Kim loves to educate and empower her clients.
Clients she works with: adolescent and adult clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, mental health conditions, over training, and GI disorders and welcomes anyone with an interest in health promotion, disease prevention, root cause approach to disease, and establishing a healthy relationship with food.
Her favorite things: eating Thai food with her family, all things yoga, watching figure skating, and reading a good book.
