Emily Bown

MS, RDN, LDN, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor

Emily is a coffee-loving foodie, mom of 2, and passionate advocate for helping women feel at home in their bodies. She received her undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State university in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in phycology and her Masters in Clinical Dietetics at Grand Valley State University, MI. Emily is also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. With a strong background in eating disorder recovery and perinatal nutrition, Emily brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her practice.

Her Approach: Emily takes a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach to care. She creates a warm and safe space where clients can explore their relationship with food, body image, and self-worth without judgment. Her goal is to help her clients reconnect with themselves, reclaim their needs, and find joy and confidence in nourishing their whole selves.

Clients She Works With: Emily specializes in eating disorders, body image healing, neurodivergence, and perinatal nutrition. She works with women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, as well as anyone navigating the mental load of chronic dieting, disordered eating, or identity shifts, especially in motherhood.

Her Favorite Things: Emily loves exploring local coffee shops, kitchen dance parties with her two kiddos, and cozying up with a good book or TV show with her family. She’s married to a chiropractor and is a big fan of messy, meaningful connection with her mom tribe.
