Kristen Edmonson
MS, RDN, LDN
Kristen received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi and her master's in Exercise and Nutrition Science from Lipscomb University. She has experience in long-term care, renal, and eating disorders.
She has experience working in eating disorder treatment at the Renfrew Center. She is skilled at supporting clients in different stages of healing and connecting them to their goals and values. She enjoys working with families of those who have eating disorders and is able to help with meal structure, education and support.
Her Approach: Kristen practices with a trauma-informed, anti-diet, Health at Every Size lens. She is passionate about helping clients achieve a better relationship with food, nutrition, and their bodies. Her experience and training allow her to provide client focused care that is direct and compassionate.
Clients she works with: those with eating disorders (and co-occurring mental disorders), disordered eating/chronic dieting, body image concerns, compulsive exercise, LGBTQ+ community and neurodiversity.
Her favorite things: her rescue dog Iris, reading library books, buying expensive coffee and pastry, watching scary movies with her spouse, traveling of any sort, and wearing really comfy clothes.
